The downside of traveling…

via we heart it

I’m leaving for London on Sunday (t-minus 6 days!) which means its time…the dreaded packing time that I hate more than almost anything.

I am by far one of the worst packers because I try so hard to be strategic but somehow convince myself I need multiple outfits for each day and end up packing a bag that weighs more than me and has nothing that I actually want to wear once I arrive.

What’s the trick to packing? How do you narrow down all the options? Shoes are an especially difficult packing item for me.

All abroad!

T-minus 26 days until I am in London. My favorite city, staying at the fabulous Chancery Court Hotel and spending a week walking, reliving and relaxing! Woohoo!

London here I come…again

via we heart it

Its official! I’m heading to London at the beginning of December and I am seriously considering staying for good! Even though I studied abroad there and visited a bunch of times I’m excited to go to places I’ve been missing (i.e., Diana’s Diner, Rock & Sole and some of the best vintage stores in the world) and finally see some sights I’ve never made it to.

Parisian pipe dreams

via belabrava

Keep in mind I’m still in fall travel gear — I’ve decided I need to go back to Paris, it’s been years since my last trip. The people, the food, the language, the clothes, the landmarks, everything a tribute to all the best the world can offer.

I’ve been vicariously living through Betty but maybe now is the time to go visit! Parts of me want to pack up, fly over and do whatever I have to do to make a living for myself so I can eat, drink, dress and live like the Parisians do. Ooh la la!

Fall back

Picture taken near St. Paul’s Cathedral, it’s a bunch of Monopoly men on a bus!?

Fall is officially right around the corner and there’s something about the changing of temperature and the replacing of one season’s wardrobe for another than makes me anxious to get out of New York and out into the world to find new adventures.

About 4 years ago I decided to apply to study abroad and had 4 months to prepare myself for a semester in London, and what would end up being the beginning of a a whole new life. Ever since then the autumn ants-in-your-pants feeling really started!

Where to next?
