I had three major things on my to-do list and I got about 10% of one of the things done…total. I’m not sure what happened, where the time went or if I even have a solid excuse but I was just not on my game. Luckily it’s just one more week until Christmas vacation and I couldn’t be any happier to have some time to relax at home, see family and friends and just enjoy the holiday season!
Santacon was this past Saturday and I had a blast. I convinced my best friend (that’s her on the right) to get all decked out as a nutcracker with me and our costumes here a huge success! Skip the tree and Rock Center next year and just drink the day away with more santas, reindeer, elves and gifts than you can imagine!
I woke up this morning hoping that today would feel like a new day, complete with that fresh start feel. I know I should wait until 12/31 to hope for change but I think I’m ready for it this morning. Cheers (with coffee mugs) to a good Monday.
How captivating is this stop motion clip? The happy colored pencils were created by Jonathan Chong aka VJ Dropbear for the Melbourne based artist Hudson for the track ‘Against the Grain’. Stare and enjoy 3 minutes of colorful bliss.
I’m always a few days behind on hearing about these things and/or watching them but here you go, thanks Adweek. Isn’t he just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?! Nicely done brother and the whole Percolate team.
Unlike some people here in New York, I am totally ready for snow. But at the very least this weekend I hope I can find some time to bundle up and head outside, the city is so much quieter as the weather turns colder. Have a cozy weekend.
I’ve started to feel like my weekends are as busy as my week and that I have zero time to relax and recover. So, I woke up this morning and made a list of goals for the rest of this year. Goal #1: attempt to be in bed by 11 on weekdays… If my parents aren’t around to give me a bedtime than I need to give myself one. Oh, and a vacation. Where should I go?
We’re finally doing what we came to California for — to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Tonight we are having a very special dinner and our very amazing vacation rental house — score! Mom, I hope you have an amazing birthday. I love you!
The Missoni for Target is finally available and as much as I really like a bunch of pieces I am absolutely obsessed with this throw and can’t wait to bundle up in it. From a design standpoint I have always really liked Missoni but clearly think that the patterns and colors need to be used sparingly — like a multicolored throw on my white couch…perfection!
Ummm, seriously?! I know I’m late on sharing my thoughts on Kate Moss’ wedding (I’ve had a lot of things to say since the big day) but seriously?! I still can’t totally comprehend the fact that this photo is from a real wedding and not just a photo shoot. The only tip off? Kate seems to be genuinely smiling!
Oh, and honestly who has Mario Testino photograph their nuptials?!
