Just because this made me gush…
And if the picture wasn’t cute enough, the story is absolutely heartwarming:
“Buttons the puppy was the runt of the litter and was rejected by her mother, but at Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, he found someone who loves him unconditionally: Kitty the kitten. The two were placed together as infants and are now inseparable.”

My kitten Georgia turned 1 yesterday!!

The lovely cbone is one of my favorite girls in this city. In my opinion, Caitlin is cooler than cool and if you didn’t recognize that immediately upon meeting her, which you would, you’d be 150% sold after seeing her cute and adorable sweater toys.
This is my favorite. Her name is Lorraine:
Lorraine is a very witty tapir. She loves improv comedy and making people laugh.
Lorraine is made from a recycled sweater. She is stuffed with hypoallergenic polyfil. Her eyes are plastic safety eyes with a shank and washer. She may not be suitable for children under 3.
Lorraine is 6″ tall and huggable.
I have been thinking a lot lately about getting another pet. My options are somewhat limited because my
best friend is allergic to basically everything including dogs, cats, angora and cashmere, to name a few. This poses a bit of a problem because I would really love to get a cat, but hairless cats scare me and there are not many non-furry creatures that I want in my house.
But then I thought of getting a bird. And admittedly I am becoming more and more obsessed with this idea less because of the actual bird and more because of how beautiful birdcages are! They add such an old-world feeling to a room. And obviously I love anything that is both functional and fashionable. Maybe I will just buy the cage for now and hold off on the bird — avian flu is not of real interest to me!
