Coming up roses

I’m in no need of a diamond ring, whether it be raw or not, but I can’t help absolutely falling in love with this ring. I love the simple setting around an anything but simple stone. And if I wore it on my middle finger it wouldn’t look engagement-y!

Hermès DIY

Anyone with a pulse, and a love for leather studded with metal hardware (which is everyone, right?), has seen and drooled over the Hermès Collier De Chien cuff and then cried over the $1050 price tag.

Well fret no longer. Now simply download your favorite bracelet and take it home for free. On the Hermès corporate site click on the ‘surprises’ button on the left side menu. Then choose the cuff’s leather design, download, cut and assemble it (no promising that this will be an easy process) and you’re ready to rock your budget friendly cuff du jour!

Struck gold

I’ve been on a mission to find the perfect tiny gold ring and for something so simple it’s been insanely hard to find (why is that always the case?!). That is until I remembered the treasure trove that is etsy.com and found these hammered rings by MARYJOHN. The only other wrench is that I need the ring in a super tiny size — not only do I have tiny fingers but I want to wear the thin ring on my middle finger but just below the knuckle. I think I saw it on someone but I can’t remember…regardless I love the idea (and will probably take credit for it!).

Monogrammed

I was back at home in CT a few weeks ago and went to my favorite little jewelry store in New Caanan, Penny Weights (the selection is enormous and all the prices are insanely low). While we were there my mom found the perfect signet ring, something I’ve been looking for for awhile, and is it getting it engraved as an early Hanukkah present. I can’t wait to see the finished product!
