Spring has sprung in New York City and with it comes a fresh start for a bunch of things in my life; including, but not limited to a some new bedroom furniture and crisp, clean new bedding. Hailing from Ikea, (who knew their bedding was decent let alone exactly what I was looking for?!) the Bjornloka is simple grey and white striped set that brightens up my bedroom, makes me feel sophisticated and cool and is light enough for the upcoming summer. No one loves snuggling up next to modern Danish design more than me!

Apartment Therapy is in week 3 of their January Cure, the winter remedy for unruly households and the need for early spring cleaning. I am right there with them. I have been thinking about reshuffling my apartment for awhile now and this step-by-step guide looks like the perfect roadmap for success. Things for these last few days in January are a bit nuts so I am going to do the February Cure!

As a forever fan of Katie Armour, I am so excited to finally see her bay area home shared on her blog. 500 square feet with chic style, flare and sophistication covering every inch. I love the colors and the homey feel, not to mention how perfectly pristine and clean everything looks — how do people get their apartment to look like that?! If it sounds like I am jealous it’s because I am!

The home alone house is for sale! Ahhhhh. If I were in the market for a house, in Winnetka, IL., this would be a total selling point for me. Home Alone has got to be one of the all time best Christmas movies, minus the parts with the tarantula – not my thing! It’s only 2.4 mil, who’s buying and inviting me over?

In my apartment I have a huge white couch and my entire bed is outfitted with white bedding. To me that’s about as good as it gets, I love the freshness of white but there is also something really soothing and even cozy to me. But now that the temperatures are dropping at night I need something extra to snuggle up in. After seeing Joanna’s post I am tempted to give my whites a pop of color with a wooly Pendleton blanket. These are my favorites (1 and 2).
