I am usually the first to dismiss Valentines day for one reason or another but I feel like this year, regardless of my feelings, I am seriously hoping I get some chocolate! While Hanukkah parties tend to be more about the food than the fashion, it seems Christmas offers a solid combination of both. For my Christmas plans this year, and maybe even the office Christmas parry, a little sequin and glitter is just what the doctor ordered. I am in love with this striped tee from Ann Taylor Loft. The layered tulle skirt the shirt is showed with is adorable, and a serious contender, but the jury is still out on what to wear with this perfect holiday shirt.

Finishing up one last day of work before spending a few days with family and friends and celebrating Thanskgiving. I love this holiday! And that’s not just because of the food! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I am all for crafts, but it seems I craft much less in the summer than I do in the fall and winter. Oh well, the time has come. And while I am thinking of homemade and crafty ideas for holiday gifts, I decided I wanted to do some decorating for thanksgiving. I love these clove studded oranges, they look amazing and smell even better. Not sure how long they will last but I definitely want to have some laying around the house to brighten things up!

As is the case nearly every year (and with most Jews), I am starting to feel like I can’t resist the urge to get a Christmas tree. I have always wanted a tree but something has always stopped me from just biting the bullet and buying one. I think this year may be different…I know exactly where I would put it and exactly how I would decorate it (obviously all white, clean, crisp, simple and elegant). But then I found this white tree while researching and I have to admit I think it’s beautiful. Decisions, decisions!

Happy Halloween! I celebrated on Saturday night dressed up like everyone’s favorite slim jim toting wrestler but today it’s official and I hope you enjoy it. Boo!

I find “holidays” such as this one (and St. Patrick’s Day) lots of fun but also very funny — I guess we’re all just looking for an excuse to have a theme party and culturally significant drinks… I don’t know if I will be filling myself with margaritas tonight or waiting until the weekend but any reason to eat some guacamole and salsa is fine by me!
