I have to try a play on this while its still cold. This is one of my favorite go-to outfits in the summer and I just recently bought a dusty rose chiffon skirt from Anthropologie which will be perfect to pull this off!

I’m not sure what it is about this anthropologie top that I love so much, but I love it! I can see it with so many different pants, shorts and even skirts that I have. In reality it’s a fairly simple shirt but the seaming in the front, the long drape on the side and the 3/4 sleeves make it so much more! Must have!

I spent all of last week in bed dying from the flu. Now that I’m healthy again I decided that if I’m going to get sick again I want do it in style and need to get myself some more cute pajamas. I love this Chicago Bears set from Victoria’s Secret and it’s a perfect two for one — cute sleepwear and great game day wear!

All I’ve wanted to do after I’ve showered and gotten dressed the past few mornings is get back in bed. I’m not sure if it’s daylight savings or what but it seems I am just pooped all the time. I am seriously hoping for down time this weekend — and how cozy does this lounge outfit look? It’s perfect for me because my feet and arms always get cold, but my legs are like hot stick! I couldn’t have said it better Roberta, ”there is…something so blissful and comforting about cuddling up indoors in the cooler months.”

It’s that time of the year where I get antsy to switch my closet over from warm weather clothes to sweaters and to find the perfect winter coat. For the past few years I have gone with wool coats (mostly from J.Crew, like this) in bright colors that cheer me up and stand out from the crowd. While I still love that look I think it might be time to try something new. I have been looking at anoraks, parkas and puffy coats (or whatever they are all called) but the jury is still out. If I had to decide right now though, these three would be the ones to choose from.

Because I am totally lacking in inspiration, energy and motivation to work anywhere but my bed today I was struck by how chic this pajama trend is. I love classic pajamas (I’m wearing them right now actually) and love the idea of wearing some variation on the theme when going out for dinner or cocktails even more. Here are a couple more pairs of pants that I found that totally fit the trend — 1, 2, 3.

I’m not too big into fur but I have been dreaming of a fur poncho for the last few years and this one from Zara is the first I’ve found. It’s not exactly what I’m looking for, I don’t love the cut or the color much, but now that this has hit the scene it’s only a matter of time until I can find one I really like!

Now that fall is here to stay it’s definitely time to stock up on the essentials one of which needs to be colorful jeans. I love walking out of the door when its cold, grey and even rainy or snowy with something a little brighter than my usual black leggings and dark denim.

Now that it’s in the 60′s it’s time for pumpkin spice lattes and major layering. Now if only it would go down a few more degrees adding a final furry layer would be just what the doctor ordered. I can’t wait! Stay warm!

While New York is still experiencing 70+ degree weather, Fall is (read: should be) right around the corner so that means it’s time to stock up on essentials. Here’s what I’m thinking. Skinny colored jeans and simple tops (I love an oversized white button down) topped off with the perfect leather jacket, something I have coveted for years but never found.
