Making it green

I have flowers around my apartment all of the time, I try to make a habit of buying some type of flower(s) on the weekend — even if it’s a single peony or a bunch of baby’s breath. Lately though, I have been thinking how nice it would be grow herbs or onions on my windowsills — and then I found out you can easily grow celery inside as well! Sounds like I have a good DIY project to get started on!

As much as I’d love DIY projects I rarely get around to doing them — for a whole slew of reasons. This project however seems so easy and looks so cool that I think I might have to actually try it out. I love ombre, old flatware and having an excuse to have a dinner party to show off my handy work. I think I would probably try blue or red paint but the I have to say that the pink looks pretty fabulous!
