I know it’s only Wednesday, and saying “this whole week” probably sounds a bit dramatic but I am pooped — it’s been crazy around here!! I keep looking outside hoping for snow thinking, maybe they will cancel work today…if only it worked that way. The only thing getting me through the past two days is knowing that when I get home I am immediately retiring to bed (I can be very productive in bed)! How nice would it be though to know you were coming home to this!? Nothing too fancy, just comfy, cozy and totally your own!

Much like Grace from Design*Sponge, I love adding a ‘y’ to the end of words when I need to describe something simply and accurately, chocolate-y, hipster-y and designer-y. And also like Grace I love the new line of temporary tattoos designed by swissmiss, Tattly. They’re simple, quirky and just trendy enough that you’ll be ready for a new one by the time your first tattoo fades. My favorites are the tiny microphone Speak Up and the Instant Camera.

The Coveteur stepped into the fabulous pad of long time life-partners Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan (and their dog Liberace) and now I am on a mission to find out if they are looking to adopt an adorable 25 year old girl! With all the whimsy of Adler’s design combined with the amazing fashion choices of Doonan (including a monogramed Goyard bag and collection of Gucci shoes) this New York City apartment looks like a much classier, and more expensive, adult Disney World!

Storage space is probably one of the most common complaint from New York City dwellers. Most apartments take a whole lot of creativity to be able to keep all the things normal people have. I realized yesterday that if I turned my kitchen into another closet my apartment would be perfect (I might as well put it to some kind of use)! While I don’t think I should be storing sweaters in the oven (a la Carrie Bradshaw) it might be a good place to put some shelves or extra cupboards so I have an place to hide things neatly away.

It’s not like I needed a new online tool to keep me my brain occupied when I should be working but low and behold I found Pinterest and I am pretty much obsessed with it!

The site lets users customize different boards to keep pins (things you find online) organized. I have boards like “things I want to eat/drink” and “places I want to travel to”. Then there’s the option to to follow other people’s boards and repin / ‘like’ things that you find. Overall it makes me a very happy girl!

When I started freelancing I didn’t make much of an effort to create a workspace at home. In fact at the beginning I couldn’t have been any happier than when I was working from bed in my pjs. But now that work has picked up considerably I’ve decided to start thinking about creating a dedicated workspace at home. Lifehaker workspace is the best for inspiration. I love the crisp white office with branches — they can even hold your earphones!

On a whim I decided to create a collage of some of the things that I think describe me best. The fact of the matter is that if I decided to make a collage today it could be totally different, but yesterday when I went on Polyvore these images sum me up!

Whenever I am feeling a bit uninspired I change blackberry background to this picture. There’s just something about it that makes me smile and sparks my creative fire. Love. Love. Love.
