Today, I officially begin unravelling! Susannah Conway’s amazing e-course starts today and I couldn’t be more excited, even though I do have some nervous butterflies in my stomach!

Here’s how Susannah explains the course:

The Unravelling process is a new way to view your world, taking time to appreciate the beauty around you. And we do this in the simplest way: we stop and look. Beginning with your feet, you’re going to go on a photo safari into your own life to reconnect with who you are, where you’ve been and where you want to go next.

Ever since I found Sunday Suppers and bookmarked it I have been checking it on a daily basis pretending that I have both the interest and the skill to actually cook up some of the amazing recipes shared on the site.

There are classes, restaurant reviews and an amazing shop of delicious looking food pictures that will most definitely make your mouth water.

And in case those things don’t get your heart pumping, how about recipes for:

If designing pieces for RVCA and being involved in the newest Forever21 campaign isn’t enough, Rumi Neely also has one of the most fantastic fashion blogs on the planet! While I know I will never be able to emanate her style (she is drop dead gorgeous and a size TINY) what I love is that she is unique and 110% herself (I say this never having met her, but I get a very strong feeling!)

The photos on her blog are taken by her and her boyfriend Colin, and while she always seems to be smoldering and bruiting, you know the two are having a blast on all their adventures to New York, Philly and Japan. Do you think in the midst of all her clothes and shoes that she has room in her suitcase to pack me so I can travel around the world with her?

Rumi’s eye for design is amazing and her jewelry choices have me itching with envy. She has personal style up the wazoo and yet when I read her blog I don’t feel totally out of my league — even though I am absolutely, unequivocally, totally and completely am! Without the world renowned blog, fame and unreasonably fantastic style Rumi is just a girl on a mission — to look fabulous and blog while doing it! Amen sister!

I decided that if I’m sharing weekly religious figures I should start highlighting blogs that I love to read. I read those blogs on a daily basis and am constantly linking to them because of their amazing writing and photos.

I am addicted to Because I’m Addicted — a playful, artistic, fashionable, and all around eccentric lifestyle blog by Geri Hirsch. You know she’s a big deal because she even has her own tank, designed by Danny Roberts for Forever 21!

Other than the fact that we both posted about OPI colors in the same week , Geri’s blog is one of my favorites because of the variety of things she writes about. Earlier this year she was sent to Russia for Fashion Week in Moscow, she’s in the midst of taking cooking classes and sharing recipes, and when she shares her outfits I always feel inspired.

It’s not just that the content of Geri’s site is compelling, it’s compelling because it gives me the sense that I know who she really is. Maybe this is simply my addiction speaking, but her writing seems honest; it’s funny and she can be incredibly detailed — I’m guessing this is what she’s really like in person. Geri, let’s be friends*!

*I mean that in the least creepy way possible!

I decided that if I’m sharing weekly religious figures I should start highlighting blogs that I love to read. I read those blogs on a daily basis and am constantly linking to them because of their amazing writing and photos.

I actually found Katie’s amazing blog after she commented here on leahbrier.com and ever since I have been a daily visitor to her vintage-inspired blog The Neo-Traditionalist. Not to mention her shop is out of this world.

What I love most about Katie’s blog, other than her adorable pug Alfred (who has an open invitation to play with Willamina) is what her blog stands for. It’s more than just quotes of the day and amazing vintage finds, Katie has actually written a manifesto for her blog; she believes in everything from being optimistic to being granny chic and who doesn’t love that?! Also, at the beginning of 2010 Katie and Lilly Warren from Lox Paper started Plucky Pioneers to spotlight women in design. I think women supporting other women is a really noble thing — and is a lot of the reason I started sharing blogs I love.

All and all Katie’s site has such a strong voice and life to it that I can’t imagine not coming back day after day. That, and following her on her journey to the alter (Katie is getting married in a few weeks) is just too good to miss! Maybe one day I will join The Neo-Traditionalist team….ahh a girl can dream!

I decided that if I’m sharing weekly religious figures I should start highlighting blogs that I love to read. I read those blogs on a daily basis and am constantly linking to them because of their amazing writing and photos.

I can’t quite remember how I found Emily’s blog, Cupcakes and Cashmere, but since being introduced to it I have become borderline obsessed.

Emily shares everything on her blog. She has galleries of each months’ outfits, recipes, how-to guides for just about everything (thank god she showed me how to do beachy waves, because before figuring how to use the curling my hair was a hot mess), design ideas and her favorite spots in LA.

I think it’s my jealously of her fabulous life, and her new Coach bag, that makes me come back day after day! But I also love all the interaction Emily has with her readers. Tons of people comment on her posts and Emily always responds. I think the marker of a truly successful blog is a when there is a real sense of dialogue between writer and reader — and Emily has that in spades!

I decided that if I’m sharing weekly religious figures I should start highlighting blogs that I love to read. I read these blogs on a daily basis and am constantly linking to them because of their amazing writing and photos.

I had the good fortune of meeting Joanna during the YSL Experience Parisienne perfume campaign and have been an avid follower of ‘A Cup of Jo‘ ever since.

Joanna and her husband just had their first baby, Toby, and she is currently away on maternity leave. But while she is away she has a whole slew of guest bloggers sharing their favorite things from the web.

When Joanna is writing, her blog covers everything — fabulous photos from Edward Mapplethorpe, great recipes and weekly giveaways ranging from lingerie to jewelry, letterpress goodies to handbags.

I love Joanna’s blog because I believe it is a true reflection of who she is. I don’t know her very well personally, but I feel like I do when I read her posts. She’s full of life and incredibly creative, she has the inside scoop and she always seems to have the earliest post about the hottest trends!
