Clutch crafts

I have entire Pinterest board dedicated to all of the DIY craft projects I will complete one day, when I have ample free time on my hands. This box clutch is a different story, though. It’s so simple, chic, clean and easy. So far I’ve found the frames and I am searching for the right hardware. I am so excited to try this out!

State of mind

NYCT
via dogeared

I was introduced to Dogeared Jewelry recently and fell in love with all the cute and whimsical pieces they offer. I am always on the hunt for delicate and stackable necklaces because they are effortless but add just the right amount of flare and funk, especially with low cut tees and tanks in the warmer months. Right now I am debating between the New York and Connecticut State of Mind necklaces. But, which is more important — where I spent 18 years of my life or where I live now and and will be for a very long time?? Maybe I should get them both and stack them!!

What a stud

via anthropologie

I wear the same really simple studs every day and love the way the tiny set of earrings makes me feel just a bit dressier. But lately I have been thinking about gussying up my more casual outfits with a bit more bling and pizazz in the ear department. I really like these beauties from Anthropologie and think the bit of sparkle could be a very special touch to jeans and tees.

Shopping bags

via zara

I have been on the look out for the perfect day to night, work to play, big-enough-for-a-laptop bag and this beauty from Zara is climbing the charts. I love the saddle color because it’s great for all seasons and I like the option of the long or short strap. Decisions, decisions!

Knuckle sandwich

I have already shared my desire for an awesome knuckle ring (here and here) but when I found this chevron ring set on Etsy, I decided that this is the one! Elegant, one of a kind and badass!

Trip down memory lane

via honestly wtf

If I were to walk into my parents house today, look in the low, left cabinet in family room wall unit I am pretty sure I would still find my boxes of perfectly organized embroidery thread from back in the day when friendship bracelets were the thing! Now I see them popping up all over the place, and this awesome DIY which I could definitely use as a refresher course, and I really want to try and make some again!

Chic schlepping

via free people

Since writing about my Steve Mono find at Opening Ceremony I have been on the look out for the perfect satchel / backpack killer bag and I think I have found it. This traveler bag I found on Free People is the perfect combination of distressed leather and sophisticated shape. I like the idea of being able to have a heavy bag and not worry about having to carry it on one shoulder while still looking cute and adorable with a great bag!

Z for zebra

via spotted moth

I love these zebra scarves from Spotted Moth! They’re they perfect summer accessory for those chillier nights, fashionable coverage from summer sun showers and a great accent when tied onto any simple summer carryall canvas bag!

Case closed

via society6

I’ve never had a case on my iPhone because I like how slim and pretty it is and how easily it slips into my back pocket or a small little clutch. But lately I have had the worse butter fingers and I have been dropping my phone left and right. I think that’s a sign that’s time to get a case on my pretty baby to protect it. This watercolor/cloudscape case is gorgeous and Society6 is an awesome site I found via Pinterest!

Dots and stones

via j.crew

I am not big into jewelry, I wear tiny studs in my ears and two bracelets that I never take off, but I am always drooling over bright and shiny pieces and this J.Crew bracelet hits the spot. I love the green and bronze together and the fact that it’s substantial looking but not a bulky bangle.
