An entire weekend forcasted to be fairly warm and sunny?! I couldn’t be more excited! This clearly means spending lots of time outside, maybe some lounging and reading on a blanket in the park or a trip to the butterfly conservatory at the natural history museum. Soak it up and have a lovely weekend!

I must had found my Irish roots at Zara when I purchased this dress and skirt. The emerald green items really brighten up my wardrobe, and when paired with simple, solid tops and shoes they’re great neutral items that I can wear all year round.

After a long Passover diet for the last week I had my first supper at Peels with my friend (who had also just broken a very strict [read: insane] lent) and it was a blast! The place is adorable, the food is simple but scrumptious and there’s nothing better than a menu with endless options. I would highly recommend checking the place out. It has a bit of southern charm and diner/cafe feel. The dinner was scrumptious but I’ve heard their brunch is even better!

I found this picture and fell in love with it. I’ve shared it with a few people and it’s meant different things to each of them. No matter who it’s about I think the sentiment is perfectly on point.

The two places I do my best thinking are at the gym, when I’m on my own working out and listening to music, and in the shower. Often when I think of something at the gym I type out a note on my phone or iPod, but if I think of something in the shower I have to hope that I’ll remember it once I’m out and dried off. AquaNotes are the solution to all my shower brainstorming problems!

It’s Easter weekend which means cravings for treats that are overly sweet and dyed are totally allowed! Have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter (or Happy Passover for those of us who are in the middle of a holiday without any cute bunnies or marshmellow chicks).

Large, flared bellbottoms are clearly back in fashion but I’m having a difficult time embracing this trend. First, if I went back to my parents house and raided my childhood closet it would be filled with jeans just of this sort that I rocked throughout middle school and high school. And second, I’ve only just begun my transition into wearing pants again and this seems to be like a pretty extreme pant — I’m not so sure I’m ready but it certainly looks great on these women!

Passover really is one of my favorite holidays of the year, period. While the whole not being allowed to eat bread part kind of stinks, it’s basically like a second Thanksgiving, but I actually prefer matzo ball soup to stuffing! in case you were interested in what I can and can’t eat over these next 8 days here’s the best breakdown of chametz I’ve found.

All week, even with some rainy days, I’ve been craving ice cream. So this weekend I’m determined to get some kind of icy treat and kick off spring the right way! Have a lovely weekend, with sprinkles on top!

During my last manicure I finally decided that even if the weather wasn’t going to cooperate, I was ready to move from mauves and reds to pinks and peaches, it’s springtime after all! I still need a some what opaque color because I have a huge bruise on my thumb that needs covering (note 1: it’s really gross and has been there for months / note 2: I have absolutely no idea how I got it). Essie Peach Daiquiri is my new go to pop of color. It’s a pretty mix of pink and peach, not too bright, not too neon but all kinds of awesome!
