I saw the The LXD a few seasons ago on So You Think You Can Dance and I was immediately obsessed. Since that aired they have started an online series on Hulu and actually just wrapped up season one. The dancers are all amazingly talented and the stories are fairly entertaining. All and all it is definitely worth checking out — even if it’s only to see episode 1 with about Trevor Drift (who’s real name is Luis Rosado — Quite the cutie!)
To splurge or not to splurge, that is the question. I have been spending more time in bed then I’d like to because of my back and I’m tempted to purchase an iPad to making working from bed a little easier. Is it worth it?
Everyone has been talking about workout clothes lately and trying to find ways to avoid looking like slob while sweating to the oldies at the gym. Refinery29 did a whole article on cute gym clothes and accessories — I love the water bobbles and the Y-3 running shoes. And everyone’s favorite stylist Rachel Zoe mentioned her love for the O.O.C (out of control) bright colors of Nike’s Pro Collection.
While I try to look decent at the gym, trading in t-shirts for these great tops from Lululemon, the only thing I really care about are the shoes and the head gear. My sneakers of choice are these Nike LunarGlide+.they are amazing light and seriously comfortable. And now that I have short hair I can’t leave home without a slipless headband. Instead the headband is a silicon grip and it seems to be the only headband in the world that doesn’t slide right off my head!
Ever since I found Sunday Suppers and bookmarked it I have been checking it on a daily basis pretending that I have both the interest and the skill to actually cook up some of the amazing recipes shared on the site.
There are classes, restaurant reviews and an amazing shop of delicious looking food pictures that will most definitely make your mouth water.
And in case those things don’t get your heart pumping, how about recipes for:
Definitely getting this amazing Voyager suede duffel from Madewell to be my all purpose Fall/Winter bag. I love the “fatigue” color and the suede/chain combo! Is it inappropriate to go back to school shopping when you are no longer in school? Grr.
In case I haven’t made it clear in the 1 million posts and tweets I put out there I have had some nesting tendencies recently and am putting my apartment through a whole summer renovation.
Now that I have purchased new wallpaper, a new bed, dressers, coffee table and dining room chairs all that is missing is this banana rug from Jonathan Adler. It looks fun and delicious!
